Hi all, I having a #$%& of a time getting CouchPotato to start at boot on Ubuntu 15.10.
I REALLY could use some help :-)
I posted on CP's forum as well, but I REALLY like HTPCguides and am hoping someone here could lend a hand...
When I installed CP I followed their install guide and so tried to set up start on boot with an init.d script to no avail.
I now understand that since 15.4 Ubuntu is going with systemd instead.
With that in mind, I erased the init.d script and gave a go to creating service with the following:
I then moved it to /etc/systemd/system with this:
sudo mv couchpotato.service /etc/systemd/system/
Then I ran the following:
I was prompted for my root pw three times
Then:
Got prompted for root pw again
Then I ran the following to see if we had any joy:
It returned this:
Can anyone tell me where I am going wrong?
Thanks in advance for any replies...
