[Not Solved]

I seem to be having issues with new folders created on my Downloads Folder and then in my TV Shows folder. New files or folders downloaded to the Downloads folder are not picked up by Sonarr (But they are picked up by Couch Potato) and then New TV Folders created in the TV Shows folder are also being denied access.
If I run the chown command then the issue gets fixed but this seems to be happening constantly and especially with SOnarr.
The folders are mounted at the start but this issue is not going away.
My username is defined as pi throughout but struggling to solve this problem.

The Couchpotato problem is a problem because you use the same folder for series and movies. You should make different folders for finished movies and finished episodes.
The permission issues you can have sonarr set permissions for you. In settings under Media Management, enable Advanced settings and scroll all the way down there you can have sonarr set permissions for new folders and files.

Thanks
I've put seperate folders for movies and series now
In the Media Management then should I put 0755 in chmod and pi in the user and group?
I've tried that but still getting permission denied. Do I need to restart Sonarr?
Thx

Did you enable it as well? You can try restarting.
If that doesn't work it's probably some user issue, check the user with
Code:
ls -la /path/to/folder
Also remember I had some issue long time ago and I think I fixed it with setfacl instead of chmod
Code:
sudo setfacl -Rdm g:pi:rwx /mnt/usb
sudo setfacl -Rm g:pi:rwx /mnt/usb

Yes have enabled it.
The Setfacl commands give me an operation not supported error on the files?
I've restarted and will see if the next new download still has the same issue.
Thanks for your help. I'll keep you updated if sorted.
Thx

Problem could of course also be with auto-mounting. How does your fstab configuration look?
Mine looks like this for my external harddrive:
Code:
UUID=1234-1234-1234-1234-1234 /mnt/1tb ext4 nofail,defaults 0 0

My network drive is my NAS which I'm mounting via the network rather than a USB connection.
Below is my Fstab file
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/mmcblk0p6 /boot vfat defaults 0 2
/dev/mmcblk0p7 / ext4 defaults,noatime 0 1
# a swapfile is not a swap partition, no line here
# use dphys-swapfile swap[on|off] for that
192.168.1.104:/Public/Movies /home/pi/Movies nfs rw 0 0
192.168.1.104:/Public /home/pi/MyNAS nfs rw 0 0
192.168.1.104:/Public/tv /home/pi/TVShows nfs rw 0 0
192.168.1.104:/Public/drone /home/pi/Downloads nfs rw 0 0
