@R@piworld
Have you used my Minibian image with the installer or are you using the installer separately?
Did the Minibian PMS jessie image not work for you? I suspect Plex may have done something funny with restricting it to a MAC address or something
One difference I see is that you are using LXDE which I don't use in any of my tests. I'd recommend using the Minibian Jessie image with the installer and try from scratch there, rajeshshan had success with it.

Hi Mike.
That"s what I did first thing this morning. Used Pi Filler to install Pi.2.Minibian.PMS.v6.htpcguides.img on my SD card.
Installed Minibian. Overclocked to 800 MHz. Insatlled wireless firmware. The intention is to hang the Pi on my TV and use a wireless keyboard. (Haven't bought one yet). The LXDE to open on boot. I'm not to sure about running PMS without the visuals.
That all worked fine and my WD USB drive mounted and is readable.
Then I ran the Plex installer from the SD image. Don't remember seeing any errors, but couldn't get PMS to load on Icewaesel.
Repeated the whole process, but installed Plex manually as shown in the guide. Same result.
Is there a way to check if Plex is running?
Thanks for your patience
R

The error you are getting R@piWorld suggest the operating system isn't seeing spaces. The only difference is you are using lxde. You do not need a GUI just access it headless via SSH.
Do you have a Raspberry Pi 2 or B+? If it is not a Pi 2, Plex will not work. If it is a Pi 2 you are downclocking to 800MHz
Try this Jessie image (what rasjeshsham used) that does not have PMS pre-loaded but includes the installer and use the installer for Plex, do not install LXDE, overclock or anything else.

Thanks Mike.
Please excuse my ignorance. I'm a complete NOOB! I have a Pi 2 - MODEL B (NEW)
I downloaded Jessie image (what rasjeshsham used). Changed my passwords and expanded the file system. Ran the installer.
Should I be accessing a GUI headless, or Plex? No idea how for either! Is there an idiots guide?

Please confirm you are on a Raspberry Pi 2 and not a B+ or earlier models.
If you are on Pi2:
Start SSH and log into pi, run the installer (instructions on the image page) and choose Plex, when it finishes installing it will tell you the IP of the Plex web interface (the GUI). Enter that http://ip.address:32400/web or /web/index.html into a browser on your local network (your laptop or desktop machine)
Headless means there is no screen attached to it.

The other thing to try is using a browser that supports a private/incognito mode. We need to move your questions as they are not related to plex server is not powerful enough error.

One more question. Plex can't see my USB HD. Guess I need to mount it?

Power hard drive if it is 2.5"
Mount your hard drive
Please start your own thread called 'Trouble installing Plex on Pi 2' and then I can merge your posts into it R@Piworld

Profit - found the new plex.js under:
