Hello everyone,
I have got a NAS synology DS2415+, a modem-router CiscoX3000, a router Asus RT-AC88U and a UPS Eaton 5P1550.
My DDNS synology was wrong for WOW my NAS.
So I found on internet this website htpcguides, with the guide on DDNS Afraid for asuswrt-merlin.
It was working well yesterday and today it goes wrong with erreur in the router log.
That's why I register on this forum...

Welcome!
If you are running Merlin firmware on the Asus router I can recommend using the free Asus asuscomm DDNS, it's much easier to configure

Hi,
Do you know if it's possible to get the script for Asus asuscomm DDNS ?

You shouldn't even need the script, if you go to WAN > DDNS tab you can see the asuscomm settings there, just add in your desired subdomain and click Apply

Since a few days, the ddns-start of my script, doesn't update my public IP, nothing in my router's log about ddns-start. So, impossible to make WOW on my NAS Syno. I have to go to the website of "DDNS Afraid" to update manually.
Moreover I notice a lot of line in my log as following :
Feb 21 13:50:13 dnsmasq-dhcp[300]: DHCPACK(br0)
Feb 21 14:23:56 WLCEVENTD: eth1: Disassoc
Feb 21 14:40:07 dnsmasq-dhcp[300]: DHCPREQUEST(br0)
Feb 21 14:40:07 dnsmasq-dhcp[300]: DHCPACK(br0)
Feb 21 14:43:54 WLCEVENTD: eth1: Assoc
Feb 21 14:43:56 dnsmasq-dhcp[300]: DHCPREQUEST(br0)
Could you please help ?

Well, I've set the ASUS.COM DDNS instead of the afraid one.
It works BUT we'll see in the future if the update of the public IP is made quickly and automatically in the case of the IP public changes.
