OpenVPN Split Tunneling with Peerguardian

I'm following the guide to setup VPN Split Tunneling on Raspberry Pi (Raspbian Stretch).  However, I also use Peerguardian to block aggressive IPs.  Peerguardian marks packets based on blocklist matching.   Since packets can only bear a single MARK, PeerGuardian fails if other firewall scripts also mark packets.

Is there a workaround to allow Peerguardian to work alongside OpenVPN split tunneling?

Not every time but i think some of the VPN's are working properly but computer are going to slow very much and hard to worked on it, only one time i used VPN in my new laptop which i bought on Black Friday Coupons, when i opened VPN, my laptop works very slow.
