Hi guys. First off, thanks for these guides. Unlike most on the web they are easy to follow AND work!
Got a bit of a problem and would appreciate some help. I'm trying to set up my Pi B+ as a torrent box. I've made a new image of Raspbian and followed the guides for installing storage and samba and this is working correctly. I have Transmission working on another SD card without VPN so all is good that far. VPN is the problem. I have an account with privateinternetaccess and use the Netherlands server.
The problem comes when you test the script sequence. The web interface says Connection Failed - could not connect to the server and the scrips response is as below:-
pi@raspberrypi /etc/openvpn $ sudo openvpn --config /etc/openvpn/Netherlands.ovpn --auth-user-pass /etc/openvpn/login.txt --script-security 2 --up /etc/openvpn/torrentvpn.sh --down /etc/openvpn/torrentvpnstop.sh

Sun Sep 20 06:44:15 2015 SIGTERM[soft,auth-failure] received, process exiting
pi@raspberrypi /etc/openvpn $
The username in password in login.txt is my PIA username and account number - not the socks5 username and account number.
Would appreciate some help here!
Many thanks
Edit:- Just to make sure I'm using the correct password I've reset it, logged in to make sure it works and changed the details in login.txt - still the same.
