Hi,
So I currently am using the rPi as a plex server, and it is working out very well! As it stands right now, it is connected to a really old and about to be RIP WD external hard drive. I am planning on expanding and purchasing a WD Red 2 or 3 tb hard drive (along with a powered internal hard drive enclosure). Was at first thinking about just a standard external hard drive, but I am worried they really are not sufficient for always on and getting used pretty frequently use.
My question is, is this the right thing to do? Or should I also be looking at a WD my book duo, or is there something else I should look into, to build an efficient system to run from the rpi?
Thank you!
John
