Hey Guys!
Working with home media stuff is probably my biggest hobby as I use all kinds of apps and scripts like Sonarr, Radarr, etc. Most of the are currently hosted on a Windows 10 x64 system including Apache which I use for a custom homepage and reverse proxy. I also have my on domain name /w 3rd party SSL cert to access all of this with.
I've been able to successfully redirect about a dozen different applications with Apache's Reverse Proxy, but Radarr is giving me a strange issue. I can access Radarr from it's reverse proxy address externally, but unlike all of my other applications, I cannot access it internally. I have a DNS entry in my router to convert all requests for my domain name to the host's local IP so it should work - but doesn't!
Example: mydomain.com resolves as 192.168.0.120 (host of apps) on all systems on the lan. Address I would use for Radarr is https://mydomain.com/radarr which works outside of LAN but not on LAN.
Whenever I attempt to visit the proxied address internally (https://domainname.com/radarr), the dark Radarr background appears with the moving dots at the top of the window like it's going to load, but that's as far as it goes. It doesn't matter if I try it from the local system I host it on or a laptop on the same LAN.
In my apache.conf file, I have it configured the same as i do Sonarr as well as most others which all work fine:
<Location /sonarr>
order deny,allow
deny from all
allow from all
ProxyPass http://127.0.0.1:7979/radarr
ProxyPassReverse http://127.0.0.1:7979/radarr
</Location>
Below is what i've tried in order to resolve the issue - all produce the same result:

Below is what i've tried in order to resolve the issue - all produce the same result:
- Using form authentication instead of the default authentication
- Configuring Radarr with SSL (and verifying it worked directly) then changing Apache conf file to redirect to it's address + new port instead. (I have SSL configured within Apache and not in my apps as they will be under SSL when I visit the redirected address)
- I recently reinstalled Radarr from scratch - had the same issue before
