Hey guys
Everything has been going great with my PI until today. I went to watch something this morning and Kodi could not find any of my files on the pi. I had a look at my router and the IP of my Pi had changed. I was confused as I had assigned it a static IP of 192.168.1.10, it was now 192.168.1.6. I did a bit of looking and realised that with my router you can not assign an IP in the range of 192.168.1.1 - 192.168.1.20 as these are the IPs it automatically assigns to devices. I have now assigned it an ip of 192.168.1.21 and it is showing up as having that IP in my router AND an automatically assigned IP of 192.168.1.9. I cannot SSH into the .21 IP but I can SSH into the .9 IP.
It also is being given an IPv6 address.
I am really confused about this. I can still access my files through SMB on Windows, but Kodi cannot find them as it is using NFS and doesn't know the new IP address. Can anyone think of a way to fix this?
Thanks
