Hi Mike
I have managed to install a working version of Plex on a 32Gb Card. Not quite sure how, but this is what I did.
1. SSH'd in as Pi & downloaded
2. Attempted to unpack this with the sudo command. Again I got the long list of "permissions denied"
3.Used
to switch to root. (it did without asking for the root password)
4. Grabbed
again.
4. Proceeded with the install, but still using rhe sudo commands! Started Plex & got it on port 32400.
Version 0.9.16.6 & saying there is an update available.
5. Backed up my Sd Card. Then put it back in the Pi, mounted the USB Media Drive & Installed HD Idle.
Plex is busily re-building my Libraries. It's fully accessible and I can play music content on my phone while away from my Network.
I will back evrything up again and then try to update Plex to plexmediaserver-ros6-binaries-annapurna_0.9.17.3.2239-fe07491_armel.deb
Regards
Roger
