Update Again
Hi Guys. No sooner had I updated than Plex informed me I needed another update. Went through the whole process again. I am now running Version 0.9.15.2 and so far everything appears to be working. R

0.9.15.2 has wrecked my Setup. I'm running Debian Jessie (obviously ) and the update seems to have run successfully but it won't startup anymore. I noticed that it forced a change to using plex/plex user/group so I made the config changes and chmoded the plex folder but it's still "entering failed state" I'm at a loss. I just tried loading plex forums through tapatalk and got a server error. Is the plex team having some problems lately?

I had the same issue, plex won't always start after odroid xu4 reboot, my media is on a cifs mount, after adding 10 seconds delay to init.d script it's all ok but have to modify after every plex update

Try to change the permission so it's read only?

Something like this:
sudo chattr +i /path/to.file
To undo the above
sudo chattr -i /path/to.file
