Hi, recently my plex library accidently updated while my external hdd wasn't attached, purging all metadata of all files in my library in the process...
After reattaching the hdd I refreshed my plexe media library. It's taking forever! It's been at it for about 6-7 hours now and isn't even half way finished. It's only about 150 videos.
I don't remember it being this slow..
Any clues why this is the case now?

It could just be the servers where it is pulling metadata from that are slow at the moment. Did it finish by now?

Yeah it finished, took around 10hrs. However, I've noticed another issue. Let me clarify the situation first. The mess up with plex happened when I rerigged/relocated my network/pi when my new modem arrived (I recently switched ISPs) I set up the new modem/router combination, added all portforwards, gave the pi the appropriate static IP again and got stuff running. However, when I SSHed into my pi I noticed that it would take unusually long (20+sec) to connect and then again for the password prompt to appear after I typed my login name.
Did some googling and found that adding "UseDNS no" to The sshd_config fixed the slow SSH behavior of the pi.
Now I'm wondering if there is something fundamentally different about, or in the settings of my new modem that might affect other parts of my pi setup.
Could you point me in the right direction?
Thanks!
