Edit Reason: Info
)
I setup the split VPN and everything has been working fine, but radarr is telling me that my primary user account does not have permission to write to the folder I am selecting. Sonarr has given me no issues so far, but I have not really added any new shows since completing the setup.
My total setup is as follows:
-Ubuntu 16.04 (Virtual Machine)
-Ombi configured with Radarr and Sonarr for movies/tv respectively.
-Transmission is my torrent client and goes over vpn.
-Windows Host (where media is stored using fstab/cifs mounting)
Issue is showing when trying to add a movie in radarr directly, and choosing the folder. Upon trying to add the folder, I get the error message "Folder is not writable by user [myuser]"
Upon completing the split vpn, I set the vpn user and group as the uid and gid in fstab, [myuser] should be added to the group that my vpn user is in.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Edit1: It looks like Ombi is able to add movies to radarr with the correct path, but I am unable to directly in Radarr... ???
