I'm running Transmission from the Banana Pi Media Server Installer on this site. For some reason it is not saving my settings. I have setup the download location, speed settings, etc, but after I restart the Pi my settings always go back to default. Is there something I need to do to make the settings permanent?
I set it up through the web interface if that makes any difference?

Take ownership of the settings file.
I guess you have the user pi?

I will check the installer is making the right permissions, if I understand correctly it is only the updated settings you are choosing in the Transmission web ui right that aren't sticking?

Ok, a little bit of an update. I have done the setup guide that manne linked above. I now have my download location saved correctly (as it was set in the settings file during the guide). However, anything I change on the web ui is not permanent. I just logged into the web ui and changed the upload and download speeds and then stop the transmission service and restarted it and all the settings I changed in the web ui were gone.
Is there something I need to change in the settings to make changes made in the web ui permanent?
