Hi.
I need help understanding in what way the RPi uses swap
My previous Wheezy torrenter installation which stored just the data on an ext USB HDD, soon trashed the SD card.
Investigating further on the web, I found suggestions included deleting swap, moving swap file to HDD, creating a swap parition on the HDD , and even moving the swap into memory.
With Jessie, now people are saying "leave it all alone", or "remove the /etc/dphys-swapfile" or "make a swap partition"
I can't seem to find any definitive advice on using or not using or removing swap under Jessie.
(My goal is to eventually boot from an HDD and run a torrenter, and owncloud 24/7 without trashing the SD card)
Can someone help?
Thanks
Pete
