Seems like it should be a common question given the guides you've written, but I don't see it answered yet.
I have plexrequests set up locally and I'm trying to figure out what I want it to look like remotely for logins. I have SR, CP, Webmin, Plex, and Plexpy (plexpy not working remote yet, haven't had time while on the local network to try again fyi) all set up to login with a master password with fail2ban via reverse proxy. I don't want to give out my "master password" for nginx since 1.) it's a long and complex pw for security and 2.) I don't want people that I just want to have access to plexrequests to have access to my other stuff. How do I go about setting up a subdomain that has either a seperate password, or no password at all to see the landing page for plexreqeusts? Is it safe for plexrequests to allow access from anyone as long as I make them use their plex login once they get there? I'm assuming Fail2ban would catch these logins and ban the ip just like everything else as long as it's pointed to the proper directory and set up.
I suppose the next question would be setting up owncloud since it will be a simillar situation and is my next thing to conquer after I get plexrequests set up.
How do others normally set this up?
