Hi All,
I am no expert when it comes to configuring web servers so forgive me if there is an easy solution to this that I am not seeing.
I've had a system running for years but I apparently decided I needed some aggravation in my life so I reformated and started from scratch
My setup:
- an old screenless Toshiba laptop
- Ubuntu Server 16.04.03 LTS
- OpenVPN
- Sonarr
- Radarr (new to me, used to run CP)
- Plex
- NZBget (new to me, used to run SAB)
- Transmission - (split tunneled to the VPN - which is new to me)
- Cardigann (new to me)
- Nginx for reverse proxy (also new to me)
- I use DNYU.com for DDNS of a domain I own
- My Asus router is running a script to update my DDNS
I have never used an app monitor in my previous setups and wanted to give it a go. I picked Muximux based on a few Reddit posts. After installing it I realized I have a conflict on port 80 as Nginx is listening to it for the reverse proxy which is part of the split tunnel process as spelled out in this guide here on HTPC (Configure Transmission for VPN Split Tunneling Ubuntu 16.04 + Debian 8).
Again, sorry if I am just not getting something simple, but is there a way to utilize Muximux while still having Nginx listen to 80 and forwarding along to all my apps? Maybe run Muximux on a different port and set up the reverse proxy to point to it such as: my-DDNS-forwarded-domain.com/maximux ???
Thanks in advance for any replies.
Cheers!
