Hello,
I successfully installed your awesome img on my BPI ( http://www.htpcguides.com/banana-pi-pro-...ler-image/).
I would like to have HDMI working, since when some problems happen during sturtup (i.e. some media fails to mount) I can't read the output on the monitor, since ssh server service is not started yet. So the BPI becomes unreachable and I have to flash the img again and start over from the beginning.
Is there a way to make HDMI working?
Thanks

Those images are designed for headless setups. My apologies if that wasn't clear (Igor mentions it on his armbian page). The reason for the failure is systemd halts the system when the nofail parameter is not enabled in /etc/fstab - the updated guides for mounting now include this parameter, it was never an issue when init.d was the main startup method so you got quite unlucky.
I would set up an Ubuntu virtual machine and put the SD card in a USB reader so the virtual machine could see the sd card, then open the /etc/fstab file (using sudo) on the sd card and add the nofail parameter.

Of course! Putting the sd card in a USB reader and running a live distro it's the solution.
I will read the guide you posted to avoid further mistakes =)
Thanks!

You're welcome, this is a failure in systemd in my opinion but this should get you up and running. Let us know

Yep! I managed to get everything working (till now =).
I will try to "upgrade" the BPI to "home server" with at least a USB (shared) multifunction.
I was wondering if there is a way to boot from SD card, and then run everything from USB HD (os included), since writing often on the SD is not the best solution imho.
