Hello I have followed your guide and have got FTV working however it is very limited many channels are not listed.

Ones like WWE Network are not showing up or HBO East

In the integration guide it should say you can alter which TV Guide FTV guide uses, I believe I recommend using Sky GO's guide to get more channels.

I do:

For XML TV type I recommend choosing UK (Sky Go)

Sure and I have followed the guide, sky go is limited very much so on the channel listings almost none of the movie channels are listed.

So basically it is using a legit services guide and cannot make a unique NTV guide which is a multi national network, as if sky go is the solution then its a very limited solution as many many channels are not indexed on sky go.

I am sorry for posting here I just realized you are not the author of any of these applications and just a guide creator this goes past your scope of knowledge as suggested by your response.

Sorry about the quick response before, been very busy lately.

Sky Go is enough for me but I can see you want to customize and combine the guide and pool data from various xmltv feeds. If you do manage to get this working after speaking with the FTV Dev (blueyez is very helpful), do let me now and I will try and make a guide about it.

For the NTV <> TV Guide, I have made an enhanced version of the NTV.mx addon for Kodi. This version is recording and integration to TV Guides like TV Guide, iVue and others based on the Tommy Winther data model.

Description and latest code:

An enhanced version of the original NTV.mx addon including version 3.4.8 and comes in flavors: NTV, White Label, My Indian TV and WozboxNTV.
It shows icons of most channels
Recording is controlled via a database and there are views to control recording
Every time the addon is started it creates the ftvntv-krogsbell.ini file with your channels to use in integration with TV Guides.
You can select different TV Guides and any program you mark in the TV Guide will be set for recording by the addon - no strange settinge - just select your TV Guide (compatible with the original Tommy Winther TV Guide) and keep it updated.
You can make recursive recordings from the addon - then on an hourly basis your TV Guide is searched for programs with the text in the program title. Recursive programs found will be marked as notified.
You can controll the TV Guide with an SQL file - example is supplied.
Recording with RTMPDUMP or FFMPEG on all platforms including Android. If FFMPEG folder is missing in your installation, you can find it at the Google Drive link below.
This version generates a m3u file to use with PVR IPTV Simple Client.
Take a look in the changelog.txt to see how things are working.

Newest versions records using ffmpeg when the original ntv.mx has stopped recording.
Logo/icons are shown for most channels ;-)

But we are waiting for NTV to deliver the archive on all platforms!

Don't know if this is a general ftv on ntv thread, or if I should open a new post? But I'll take my chances:

I am running ntv.mx plugin using KODI v.17 Krypron on my windows7 PC.
Have combined it with the ftv guide plugin for EPG service. It is working alright, BUT:

The ftvntv.ini file found here: "http://www.htpcguides.com/integrate-ftv-epg-guide-with-ntv-for-uk-tv-on-kodi-xbmc/" is one year old, and might not be updated against ntv channel availability (at least I diod not find "ITV1 HD". Also I see in this file that this string (example):

will dislpay "green n/a" on the actual tv picture as the tv show information. This probably is due to outdated information given later in the string? Is there a fix for this?

Also, as I subscribe to the ultimate ntv package, I have both UK and scandinavian channels plus some US sport channels. Is it at all possible to combine all these into one single EPG?

As of now I must choose "UK (Sky go)" as XMLTV type for anything to work. If I choose "ftv all" I will get no EPG information at all.
At the bottom of the list there is an option called "custom file". I wonder, is it possible to create a custom file to load a custom EPG calling on all tv channels of my choice??

Finally, I would like to arrange channels into different channel lists. 348 channels to scroll around is a bit awkward.
